How to Upload Videos on Youtube

Uploading videos on YouTube have been made even easier with the current version of YouTube. It is critical that you prepare your videos for optimal play resolution. Here is the video specification for that YouTube requires:

YouTube prefers high-definition videos and, in general, you should provide videos in the highest resolution available to provide the maximum degree of flexibility in the encoding and playback processes. For videos intended for sale or rental, you should offer a minimum resolution of 1920x1080 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. For either free or ad-supported content, YouTube does not set a minimum resolution but recommends a resolution of at least 1280x720 for a video that has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of at least 640x480 for a video that has a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Now that you have your video on the right specifications then let's upload it.

1- Go to https://www.youtube.com/ and look at the right top corner of the page.

2- Click on the Camera with a plus icon. Then choose "Upload Video."

4- Wait until the upload is 100%. In the meantime, you should write the title of the video and the description. The title is essential because it is how your audience is going to find your videos.

5- Add your video to a playlist. You can add this by clicking on "Playlist" on the right column. If you don't know why you should do this, then read my article on "Playlists" here.

6- Once the upload is completed AND you have your title click on Publish.

Voila! You got it. Your video is now live. YouTube is an excellent tool for lead generation if appropriately used and strategically.

If you have a YouTube channel and would like to share it with me, please add it to the comment. I would love to see it.
